Glossi is reinventing outdated creative workflows from the ground up. We’re creating a cloud-based Unreal Engine app that brings stunning real-time 3D to the browser, giving everyone the power to create gorgeous, cinematic videos and images to market their products - no experience required.
Mission for the role
Glossi is the future of creative output, and your future as an Unreal Engineer will include work on our 3D runtime application. You’ll be interacting with a part of the team to help identify needs, and execute on meaningful work with a Lead Unreal Engineer. Being apart of a startup means we face problems head on, often times on the edge of technical capabilities. This will challenge you to come up with novel solutions, and provide the opportunity to tackle problems with people eager to work as a team.
Outcomes
Role-Based:
Successfully develop, maintain, and improve on your existing code.
Collaborate with tech leader and anticipate next steps
Provide opportunity to teach others what you know, and to learn what you don’t.
Experiment and prototype while ensuring that strong architectural and algorithmic decisions are made
Work closely with art and design to build features
Prototype and iterate on these features and be willing to accept and respond to critical feedback
Optimize and fix bugs in existing systems
Write or script robust, maintainable code

Propose, Plan, and Implement systems within the Unreal Project
Ability to create fun and easy to read documentation
C++ skills and Strong BP skills and the ability to code and architect systems and tools
Good math skills
Experience with transform calculus
The ability to articulate what is strong/weak about the design of existing systems
Hobbyist experience with Cloud Platform services
Hobbyist experience with CI/CD systems
Hobbyist experience with Web services
