Today, we're launching the Glossi API, a programmable interface for generating stunning product photography and video directly from 3D models, without a physical studio, camera, or crew.

What the Glossi API Enables

The Glossi API turns product content creation into a programmable capability.

Instead of treating product photography as a bottleneck requiring studios, scheduling, and manual post-production, the API allows visuals to be generated on demand and embedded directly into the systems where products are managed, listed, and sold.

Each request produces production-ready photos and videos that can be published immediately to storefronts, marketplaces, and advertising platforms.

A Studio You Can Call

The Glossi API is designed to feel familiar to developers while remaining approachable to a broader audience.

Using the API means submitting a rendering job and receiving finished product visuals in return. Jobs run asynchronously and work across a range of supported 3D file types, with built-in controls for lighting, backdrops, camera positioning, and aspect ratios.

No special hardware. No rendering farm. No proprietary tooling.

For developers, product content becomes a building block — a single API call inside an n8n workflow, a Shopify integration, or a custom catalog pipeline.

For everyone else, studio-quality imagery can be built into products and processes without maintaining a dedicated photo studio or creative production team.
